In addition to all GESS fees, members must register with ASAI and the national governing body for the sport of speedskating and pay the appropriate registration fees.

ASAI Amateur Skating Association of Illinois  Membership in ASAI is required to complete in all Illinois and be eligible to score ASAI points for the end of season awards.  Membership dues cover the cost of software, printer supplies, end of the year awards, I-94 expenses and the general operation of this organization.

US Speedskating
The national governing body for the sport of speedskating.  Members receive the “iBlade” and “Ice Chips” publication, email updates along with knowing that they are supporting our Nation, World and Olympic teams
