Everyone should bring a water bottle and any medications you need such as inhalers, epi-pens, etc. A basic heart rate monitor is highly recommended as a very useful training tool.
We will try to make indoor/other accommodations when the weather is too hot or it looks like rain/lightning. Check your email or call Coach Carl’s cell phone an hour before the scheduled practice start time if in doubt as to a session being held.
Kids age 9 and under are welcome – we will do a modified, age-appropriate program focusing on agility, balance, coordination, and proper technique with them. Ages 10 and up through adults – we will break you up to groups by fitness and ability, so feel free to come out and do the workouts.
We include fun games and lots of technical work – its not ALL pain!
We also provide tips and a full program of workouts to do on your own as well as part of the club training. Please make sure you email Coach Carl to be put on the email list.
The fee for dryland training is one canned or non-perishable food item per practice per skater, to be donated to the Glen Ellyn Food Pantry – the coach will collect the items at the beginning of each workout.
We will do private or small group lessons by appointment.
Contact Coach Carl or Coach Elise for specifics.
