We are doing things a little different this year - to maximize the ice and include as many skaters as possible we are going to start the season with all skaters starting at the same time.

All participants should plan on arriving at 8am and be prepared to warm-up outdoors (all season).

Club Membership - Season Starts 9/10/2023* - Sunday 8-11:10am

All members (and guests from other clubs) should use this link to register. When deciding which group please see the guidelines below:

Club Team - skate a flying one lap in less than 17 seconds, are able to listen and follow coaches directions independently (8:00-11:10am)

Development Team - skate a flying one lap slower than 17 seconds, still working on fundamentals like cross-overs and are able to listen and follow coaches directions. (8:00-10:10am)

Introduction to Club - Sunday - 8:00-10:10am

Those new to speedskating. If you are coming from another ice sport we ask that you register for this class first. These 3 week sessions ($100) include skate rental and instruction to get you prepared to join either the Club Team or the Development Team.

We will group you into a skill specific grouping. Please complete the form to reserve a spot in an upcoming session. We request that all skaters who participate be able to skate independently and be able to do cross-overs.

Learn to Speedskate

These sessions are run through the Hoffman Estates Park District and are part of the Skate USA program. These sessions are recommended for skaters who are new to ice skating , are younger than 6 and skaters who have not yet mastered cross overs.
