Club Program - Sundays - 2:00-5:00 (4:30 for Development Team Skaters)

Our club program includes skaters of all ability levels and competitive interests. Those interested in testing their skills at a national level or just skating for fun and recreation are welcome to participate. Those with no prior speedskating experience should start with the 3-week Introduction to the Club program so the coaches are able to assess appropriate placement and introduce speedskating-specific terminology and technique.

The club program is divided into two groups. Club Team are skaters who have demonstrated the ability to skate a flying 1-lap time trial in 17 seconds or less and also have some mastery of crossovers and the ability to focus and skate independently.

All other skaters in the Club program are members of the Development Team. Development Team members are on the ice for the first 60 minutes of practice. Movement between the Development Team and the Club Team is determined by time and the coach’s discretion.
